Wealth Management Association
The Wealth Management Association is a trade association that represents the investment community. Formerly known as the Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers (APCIMS), their members either directly manage over £510 billion of the country’s wealth or provide supporting services to the industry.
They currently have 183 member firms which operate from over 580 sites in the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands, and employ circa 30,000 regulated staff.
The WMA currently run eight committees and eight working parties which provide an opportunity for individuals from its member firms to discuss relevant topics within the industry and examine issues such as Financial Crime, Regulation, Taxation and much more.

UK Business Angels Association
The UK Business Angels Association is the national trade association representing angel and early stage investment in the UK. (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). It has superseded the BBAA and was re-launched in its new strengthened role in July 2012. Each year private Investors account for between £800 million and £1 billion of early stage investment in the UK – the single largest source of early stage capital in this country.
Lark have been proud sponsors of the London Business Angels for a number of years and therefore have much experience in assisting both Angel Investors and those looking for investment. We have built up a strong knowledge of the exposures faced in the Angel world and have developed bespoke insurance solutions to offer protection to both Investors and investees alike.
