Mr Brown’s Platinum Club

Unlike Hugh Grant, playing Phoenix Buchanan in the film “Paddington 2”, you don’t need to be a member of Mr Brown’s Platinum Insurance Club to get a visit from one of Lark’s home insurance specialists.

For those that haven’t seen the movie, Hugh Grant quips that a home visit is a feature of his insurance company’s “Platinum Club” whilst hiding behind the curtains. Much jocularity ensues.

We’ll visit you at home. We won’t hide behind your curtains, but we will help you review your buildings, contents, art and jewellery sums insured. We’ll look at your security and do our best to ensure that underwriters sharpen their pencil.

We’re not there to put your premium up either. Insurance companies trust us to paint a better picture than can be judged from a form alone, and with this information, give us keener premiums. Of course, after a full review, your premium will most likely change, but you will be properly insured.

Many of our clients are underinsured before we visit, others don’t have the right excess. We’ll look at jewellery floating limits and explain the various feature of your policy from inner limits to less usual features of cover.

We’ll recommend trusted valuers, safe and security companies if you need them.

We’ll ensure that you understand the cover you have, for example – included travel insurance, motor breakdown cover, legal expenses and home emergency helplines.

If you’d like a home visit (whether you’re with Lark or not) and you pay more than £1000 for your home insurance, give us a call to see if we can help. That’s unless you’re Phoenix Buchanan that is!
