We appreciate that for musicians, it is imperative that they get their instrument repaired, or replaced, as soon as possible, to allow them to continue to perform. Therefore, we aim to provide a fast and efficient claims service to all of our clients.

We work with an extensive international network of dealers and repairers so, in most instances, you will be able to have your instrument repaired, or replaced, by someone you trust.

If you are involved in an accident or loss, please follow these steps:

  • Report the incident to our in-house Claims team, via the phone (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm GMT), email or complete an online Claim Form.
  • You will normally be asked for an estimate to repair damaged property, and these should be submitted with your Claim Form.
  • We may be able to provide you with authorisation to proceed with repair work, or replace items, immediately depending on the circumstances of your claim.
  • Do not proceed with repairs, or replacement, until we have confirmed the authorisation to do so.
  • Keep any invoices or receipts as they may form part of your claim.
  • If your claim involves theft, burglary or lost items this should be reported to the Police, and a crime reference number obtained.

Loss Adjusters
A loss adjuster may be appointed for their expert skills in assessing certain types of claims. It is customary for insurers to assign a Loss Adjuster to assist with a claim that exceeds certain financial limits.

Please note that should you wish to proceed with a claim you will lose any No Claims Discount currently applicable.
