Tim Wood BA (Hons)

After graduating in Law from Anglia Ruskin University, Tim started his career in insurance at Joseph Hadley Insurance, a well established Lloyd’s Broker. He has always been involved in client insurance, and has also spent some time as a  broker. In 1985, Tim moved out of London with Stafford Knight to be involved in setting up the Colchester office.  Tolson Messenger acquiring Stafford Knight in 2000. Whilst at Tolson Messenger, Tim took on the role of Compliance Director, and implemented the FSA requirements. Tim joined Lark in 2005 following Lark’s acquisition of Tolson Messenger.

 

Tim is responsible for the Corporate Client team in our Colchester office.

 

Tim enjoys sailing and yacht racing, and owns a cruising yacht and two racing dinghies. He is actively involved in a number of sailing committees and clubs. Tim is also a Royal Yachting Association Judge for yacht racing.
