Robert joined Cornhill Insurance straight from school, as a trainee underwriter working in the West End. In 1991, Cornhill closed the office, and Robert joined Lark. He started working in the Corporate Client division as a client handler, and worked his way up to Assistant Manager, and subsequently Manager of the Corporate and Private Client New Business team. In 2000, Robert moved to the Maidstone office as Branch Manager.
Robert is responsible for both the Corporate and Private Client divisions in Maidstone.
Robert in interested in most sports, albeit only watching these days, and is an avid West Ham supporter.
