John Butcher

In 1973, John joined Stewart Wrightson as a Junior Commercial Account Handler. Since then, he has enjoyed various roles at Bowrings, the Legal Protection Group, D V Dixon, and Smithson Mason Group, gaining valuable experience which, enabled him to become a Director of Somerville Insurance Services in 1999. Somerville Insurance Services was acquired by Lark in 2006.
John is responsible for both the Corporate and Private Client divisions in the Colchester office, and works closely with Sally Buckle and Malcolm Ede. He has been a key part of integrating the staff from the former Sudbury branch into the Colchester office.
John is a Leeds United FC fan and an avid supporter of the England Cricket team.
